StaffSync COVID-19 Update

We are aware that you will be receiving many COVID 19 related updates at the moment, but due to the number of questions we have received in the past few days, we felt that we should give our schools /ECEs  and relievers an update to assure you of the ongoing stability of StaffSync operations during this time, and our assurance that we will continue to maintain high levels of service to our customers during our regular business hours.

Bookings on StaffSync during the COVID-19 pandemic

There will be no disruption to the StaffSync App during this time. While we are seeing a rise in casual teacher bookings, this is seasonal and in line with previous years.  We expect this trend to continue unless school closures are announced.

In the event of school closures, StaffSync will continue to provide a platform for schools and teachers to communicate any cancellations. Schools can of course use our newsletter function to quickly communicate with all your relief staff.

StaffSync staff and operations

Our staff will work remotely if advised to do so, and this is not expected to cause any disruptions to the operation of the StaffSync App or the levels of service provided.

Contingency Plans  

Our team members can work from home using secure remote connections. We are confident that all critical processing activities such as app maintenance & development, technical & customer support and company communications will continue to function in the event of a lock-down.

Our IT Team continues to work with our technology partners to ensure all core processing systems, apps, websites, portals and mobile applications remain operational.

Advice for Relief Staff

We have added to all successful reliever notices the following advice from the Ministry of Health: If you are experiencing a cough, a high temperature of over 38C, or shortness of breath, and have recently been to a country or area of concern or have been in close contact with someone confirmed with COVID-19 or someone who is self isolating, please contact the school immediately.
